Do you recommend a car rental?
It all depends on each client personal preference.
You may book your car rental directly with us and we shall arrange for delivery directly to your accommodation.
How does the Airport Transfer system work?
Airport Transfers to your accommodation:
Private airport transfer by air conditioned Nissan Urvan Minibus or equivalent vehicle:
1. Meet and greet service at the airport by a Palmyra Holidays representative.
2. Check in formalities at your accommodation.
Your arrival in Mauritius:
There will be a Palmyra representative waiting for you outside the arrivals hall.
He will transfer you to your accommodation where you will be met by another Palmyra representative for the check-in formalities.
How do I choose my region and accommodation?
Our properties are all located in various regions of Mauritius and there is a detailed individual description of each property plus photographs listed in numerical order on the company website.
Once you have viewed our list of proposals we shall be pleased to answer any questions or queries that you may have at any time to ensure a very memorable holiday for you and your family in Mauritius.
In which currency can I pay for my accommodation?
In Euros / Mauritius Rupees either via electronic SWIFT bank transfer or by Visa or MasterCard.
You may also pay in the currency of your choice and our bank will automatically convert into Euros / Mauritian Rupees on arrival of funds.
What is included in the rates?
All rates depend on the following:
- The number of adults and children
- The season
- Dates of arrival and departure
Price structures vary from property to property and some are per accommodation and others per person.
These details will then be sent to you with a list of our proposals for your attention.
How secure is my personal information that I provide?
We do not share your personal information with individuals or companies outside of the Palmyra Group.
The information we learn from customers helps us personalise and continually improve your holiday experience with Palmyra Holidays.
All information that you provide will remain strictly confidential.
This includes not selling, renting, sharing or otherwise disclosing personally identifiable information from customers in a way that is contrary to the commitments made in this privacy notice.

What information do you need to confirm a reservation?
We request the following information:
Your first and last name
contactable telephone number
Your arrival date
Your departure date
Airline and flight numbers.
Your instruction regarding your airport transfers
Your instruction regarding car hire
How do I know that my booking is confirmed?
As soon as we receive your payment we shall forward a Palmyra Holidays Confirmation Invoice for your records.
This will clearly display all details of your reservation.
Please always check whether our emails have been intercepted by your spam filter and are sitting in your spam folder.
If I send a request, is it a reservation?
When you are ready to make a definite booking, please advise Palmyra Holidays in writing.
We shall send you all the relevant information in order to confirm your reservation.
What happens after I send a request?
After you’ve sent us a request, we shall send you our latest proposals and suggestions by return.
We receive several reservations daily from all over the world so please advise your choice of accommodation at your earliest convenience.
